Buzz: A Dan Boyle For Marian Gaborik Trade Almost Happened?
Before I go get a flowcut, I want to hear from Rangers & Sharks fans. I heard a Dan Boyle for Marian Gaborik trade almost happened. Thoughts—

Boyle, 36, has two more years left on his contract at $6.66 million per season and has a no-trade clause.
Boyle played under John Tortorella from 2001-2008. Since the lockout, in seasons where he has played more than 37 games, Boyle has not had fewer than 48 points. He is a right handed shot.
Gaborik also has a no-trade clause.
Adam Rotter: Boyle, because of his relationship with John Tortorella, would be a logical target for the Rangers. He is a righty shooting, veteran offensive defenseman who has won a Stanley Cup. I don’t think the Rangers would move Marian Gaborik for him, but in theory, a move like this would then lead to the Rangers acquiring Rick Nash.
