Earlier today, John Tortorella met with the media and expressed his feelings about the lockout coming to an end and how he will finally get a chance to be around his players again.
Tortorella said, in the NY Post,“This is what we do. This is the only thing I know how to do. The players wanting to be together, the coaches want to be with them, too.”
He added, at Rangers Report, “We want to get back with them. We feel we’re a tight-knit group, and quite honestly I miss them and I’m anxious to get back in with them and get to work here.”
He added “I’m one of the fortunate ones that has a job I love being at. Just to be around in the locker room and be around with the players, coaches are the same way. That’s where we live in, and we’re looking forward to getting back in there.”
Tortorella has said that he loves this team.
