Note: Looking At The Traverse City Roster

At NHL.com, Mike Morreale looked at the number of first and second round picks that each team will bring with them to the Traverse City tournament.

The Rangers are not bringing any first round picks and only two second round picks in Danny Kristo and Oscar Lindberg. Both of those players were acquired via trade.

According to a note from the 2006 tournament, a team can have a maximum of four players who have at least one-year of pro experience and all players must be 23 or younger.

Andrew Yogan and Kyle Jean both played in Hartford last season and the rules probably stipulate that Oscar Lindberg and Jesper Fast be categorized as pro players since they were in the Swedish Elite League.

College players do not play in Traverse City.

Adam Rotter: Without Brady Skjei and Boo Nieves, and with Dylan McIlrath and JT Miller likely staying in NY to skate with the regular players, the Rangers team seems to lack the top round talent that other teams are bringing. There is nice depth though with Michael St. Croix, Jesper Fast, Kyle Jean and Andrew Yogann up front.
