Buzz: No Timeline On Alexander Semin Making A Decision

Semin reportedly has an offer of up to $30 million to sign in the KHL.

Marc Crawford and Pierre McGuire RIPPED Semin on July 1.

When asked recently whether you would sign Semin, 31.24% said YES, 42.4% said NO and 26.33% said ONLY AS A LAST RESORT.

However, 65% of voters said that they would bring Semin in on a two-year deal worth $10 million.

Carolina Hurricanes GM Jim Rutherford said of Semin, “We wouldn’t want to get locked in to anything because we’ve all heard the stories about him. We do like his skill level. It could be that we could bring him in for a year, get to know him and go from there in terms of considering something longer term.”
