Buzz: Disputes Over How Much The Rangers Offered Michael Del Zotto Before The Lockout

In the NY Post, Larry Brooks writes that the Rangers offer for Michael Del Zotto topped out at $2.5 million for two or three years.

Brooks writes that the new CBA could lower the salary cap and prolong Del Zotto’s arbitration rights and chance at free agency and because of that, Del Zotto may end up signing a new contract that is worth less than what the Rangers offered him.
