11:15AM: TSN reports again that Columbus is adamant and won’t change their price on Nash. They want a star player, prospects and picks.
10:52AM: Portzline says that Nash is on the ice at Blue Jackets practice.
Bruce Garrioch twwets that San Jose has changed their offer for Nash but that it still doesn’t include Logan Couture.
Damien Cox reportedly downplayed Joffrey Lupul being in discussions.

According to Darren Dreger on TSN, the reasons that the Rangers dropped out on Rick Nash was because Columbus asked the Rangers for more than the original asking price.
On TSN, they report that Columbus is looking for a “face of the franchise” type of player to come back to them in a deal for Rick Nash as long as a player who can step in right now and play.

Original Post: Bob McKenzie tweets that the teams with the most interest in Rick Nash are starting to switch their focus to other targets and don’t think that the will be traded by the deadline.
McKenzie adds that it could just be a negotiating tactic by Columbus.
4:41PM: Larry Brooks tweets: “Rangers’ morning skate at Garden tomorrow. Have heard nothing to suggest Rick Nash will be a part of it.”
3:42PM: Bob McKenzie tweets: Obviously possible Rick Nash could move by tomorrow but it were close in any way do you think CBJ would’ve played him today?
Aaron Portzline tweets :”#CBJ captain Rick Nash offered a “no comment” when asked if he agreed with agent Joe Resnick that he’s hopeful a trade before Tuesday.”
Katie Strang tweets that Rick Nash will be in the lineup for Columbus today as they take on Pittsburgh at 1PM.
8:54AM: Bruce Garrioch tweets: “There was a belief b4 loss to Caps TML interest in Nash was minimal and they were driving up price for NYR. Could change by Monday.”
8:37AM: Darren Dreger tweets: “Not saying it can’t or won’t come together quickly, but this day is starting out very quiet on the Nash trade front.”
Dreger adds that Columbus hasn’t talked with Toronto and that their defenseman Jake Gardiner, like Michael Del Zotto, is untouchable.
