Carl Hagelin explains what the Rangers need to do better on Friday

Rangers10:46PM: Henrik Lundqvist was asked if he was shocked to be down 3-1 in the series and said:

“There is no shock, it’s disappointment. I think we do so many good things, we are working extremely hard and playing really well but there is nothing really to figure out, we just need to score. We have the looks and the chances, it comes down to making a big play when it’s there for you. You can’t ask for a better work ethic, it’s all in, we need to figure out a way to put the puck in the net.” (MSG)

10:42PM: On MSG, John Giannone asked Carl Hagelin what the Rangers need to do better on Friday in game five.

Hagelin responded, “score goals…”

He added, “that is the bottom line. We are playing hard and everyone is trying and so far they have done a better job defensively than us.”

In response to a previous question, Hagelin said “we have an offensive struggle right now that we haven’t seen all year. They are blocking a lot of shots but there are always things we can do better. A few good looks that we get have to be put in. We need to focus on the next game.”
