Read: The Rangers On Rick Nash

At ESPN New York, Katie Strang talked with multiple Rangers about their impressions of Rick Nash after playing against him on Sunday.

Ryan McDonagh compared him to Evgeny Malkin,

“He’s got the same kind of hands and he’s so fast in the way he moves with the puck. And definitely his shot, his quick release and how hard it is, those are some of the biggest things he’s got.”

Michael Del Zotto said that Nash’s combination of size, skill and skating make him one of the toughest players to play again.

Nash’s former teammate Anton Stralman said that Nash was one of the best players in the leagu.

I think Jerry is back although I am not sure he ever left. I agree he had some misses but doesn't every GM? 2012 draft Brought us Wilson, Randle , Hosley, Mosley and Robinson. Wilson should have been our 3rd down back none could have predicted what occurred, we have a starting WR and some good backups. Yes Robinson didn't work out but he was a 4! 2011 was a starting CB and Williams at LB not his best draft but not terrible . 2013 started a good run with Pugh, Moore, Nasib, Taylor and Cox all players over time.2014 will prove to be very good over time and this year , he has done a great job, I am a huge Collins fan well worth the 4th round pick inho

I think Reese is having a superb draft thus far (on paper).  in the 5th round there are some TE prospects out there i.e. Busta Anderson from South Carolina, and some LB prospects such as Kwon Alexander from LSU.. Hopefully we can nab those guys and close this thing out..

I'm impressed by how much he knows about the Giants and the teams history already. Seems like a perfect Marriage.

Also seems like a high character and well spoken young man. Can get enough of those. Especially in today's game. I'm excited for this player.

Let the Diggy era begin!!!

@Raymond S Henry I think he fell under the radar because his name was so hard to pronounce. It happens. Teams glossed over him and the Giants were more than happy when he was there for them in Rd 3

@SNYGiants @Raymond S Henry He probably fell because he had surgery on both hips which is about  1 surgery on both hips more than you want any player to have, and thats for a player that will use his hips a lot. Really, it's about one step below having spinal surgery. Yes, this is good value, but let's not pretend he didn't fall for a reason.

I see him being a great stand-in for a DT in the Aces front that Spags likes to use.
