At NHL.com, EJ Hradek is asked the question of “Is Rick Nash Overrated?”
Nash, the first overall pick in 2002, has never scored 80 points in his career and has only been a point per game player twice in his career.
He has not topped 69 points or 33 goals in the last three seasons.
Since 2003-04 the fewest number of foals that Nash has scored in a season was 27, in 2006-07, and has since scored 38, 40, 33, 32, 30.
Hradek answered “Not to me, he isn’t” and “Imagine what he might have done in a better situation with a little help?”
Nash’s former coach and GM in Columbus, Doug MacLean, disagrees with anyone who thinks Nash is overrated.
