In the Edmonton Journal, Jim Matheson says that Marc Staal is riding the stationary bike as part of his recovery process from a concussion.
Matheson says that Staal is “weeks away.”
In Newsday, John Jeansonne writes that John Tortorella had no update on Marc Staal.
It was reported earlier this week that Staal was going to start light physical activity.
I assume that there are many different obstacles that Staal must overcome in his rehab. Probably starts with the bike riding, then weights, skating, practice and then contact. They are gonna take it slow with Staal and he will need a long time without headaches before he is cleared. The all-star break is probably the earliest he would return.
