6/28/ 14 | 7:57PM: I think it’s a mistake to let Dom Moore go, especially if his number will come in under $2 million. Maybe now that the salary cap number has been set the Rangers can work with Moore to find a compromise but there is no good reason for the Rangers to lose Moore when he means so much on the ice (PK, faceoffs, defensive zone, energy) and as a leader in the locker room that has already lost Brad Richards. It’s one thing to give Brian Boyle double his current cap hit, it’s another to not give Moore a raise of under $1 million.
