The Rangers took part in a charity golf tournament yesterday in Banff, Alberta to benefit the communities that suffered during devastating flooding this past June.
Glen Sather told the Calgary Herald that the idea to head up to Banff was originally his wife’s as they watched the coverage of the flooding. She told him that they should do something to benefit all the people who lost so much.
Prior to the start of the tournament, $250,000 had already been raised two benefit community organizations.
