Buzz: Where The Rangers Right Now

According to Pierre LeBrun at ESPN.com, the Rangers are not happy that the Rick Nash situation is taking this long to play out and because of that, they are engaging with Anaheim in talks for Bobby Ryan.

LeBrun says that Zach Parise is true to his word and won’t sign with the Rangers.

His resume sounds like stephen hill, so there shouldn't be much or any drop off really.  here's to hope.

Bent, we both know (I think) it's mathematically impossible for a 5-7 team to leap frog a 10-3 in a single game, right??

That said, it's 6:00AM and I just finished writing a 500 word reply on why (my trusted crystal ball said) there will be a new AFCE pecking order which your trusted new site swallowed up and disappeared in the bowels of cyberspace !!!!

My index fingers are tired and I'm NOT typing it again.

In short The Jets MUST win, the Ravens will lose and The Phins will win and go on to the playoff and thus it starts )!!!

Bent, great work as always. I can't help but to think Hakim fits the mold of the Eagles WRs over the past few years. Namely, Desean Jackson, and Jermry Maclin. I doubt he has that type of speed/elusiveness but it seems Marty might know how to use those types of players.

if you throw enough spaghetti at the wall some will stick, maybe one of these guys will work out and actually catch the ball consistently like Kerley

I think Hakim will have a big day,  hopefully the jets put him in the slot and move kerley into Hill's spot, and play Nelson opposite Kerley as a possession type receiver. I predict he will have 3 touchdowns, because the defense will not pay much attention to him, I expect him to play kick returns too.

Dear Bent,

I love you.

Sincerely,

A person who gets bored and reads too many things about the jets.

P.S. I use hakim as a KR for the jets when i play madden online, hes a speedster alright.

Bent:

Not to be disrespectful, but why are you dedicating your time to these wannabes ??

Your opinion would be better served covering eve

@Beamen321

As far as speed goes, I think Hakim is actually faster then the guys you mention. His elusiveness remains to be seen.

I also use geno excessively in read option plays and use mike goodson excessively, his loss was really huge and most folks dont realize it. I love video games and the whole, who cares if they tore 2 knee ligaments you can still use them!

@Hanknaples What a moron, why shouldn't he talk about a guy who makes the roster and can possibly contribute something because of his great speed. The jets have no one with that kind of speed on offense except for Hill and he's hurt, maybe this guy can help them stretch the field a bit and perhaps open up some running lanes.

@Hanknaples  I blog about the Jets, Hank, and this guy just got added to the active roster.

It would be neglectful of me to ignore it.

I have no idea what "Your opinion would be better served covering eve" means, but thanks!

@jetfuel @Pablo Bruno I guess Bent shows in those clips that Kerley can be effective outside. He broke two guys ankles lol. He might not have elite speed, but he does have elite quickness and elusiveness which is better then having all of the speed in the world and not being able to shake people off of you, that's what creates separation. He needs to be Geno's #1 read on most plays, then Holmes, then a quick glance down field to see if Hakim is open, if not a quick check down to either Nelson a running back or tight end. This needs to happen quick in Geno's head, because the Panthers' front seven isn't going to give him too much time.

I think Hank is into Rap music and wants your opinion.

Could you please tell us how Justin Bieber or Miley Cyrus would do as Defensive ends?

@Hanknaples @bob  lol, I'm neither, just a former NYer, I moved to Florida, and I hate the Dolphins, Bucs and Jaguars. Jets fan for life, I'm going to put a big Rex Ryan poster outside my house, but I'll wait to see if he doesn't lose his job first.

I think Pablo Swedish Hanky. Cause he's sweet on the Jets

@McGeorge I think Cyrus would be a wrecking ball but Bieber would struggle because he's too much of a baby.

@a57se @Hanknaples @DarrolRayFanClub @Bent It's actually impossible for the pecking order of the AFC East to change regardless of this weekend's results.  On Monday, the Pats will be first, the Dolphins second, the Jets third and the Bills fourth.  If that settles it for the next 3-5 years, then we might as well all pack up and go home.
