Read: Mats Zuccarello Tells Norwegian Paper He Doesn’t Feel He Was Treated Properly

In the Norwegian paper, Nettavisen, via friend of the blog Stein, Mats Zuccarello told a reporter, during an interview in Central Park yesterday, that he does not feel he was treated properly the past two seasons and that he knows he can play in the NHL.

Zuccarello said, “I do not think Rangers have treated me so well, I’ll be honest.”

Zucc adds “I do not know if the coach has relied on me, but I have not given him any reason not to trust me, either.”

“When I played here last year, I had the most assists in the power play. This year they have been bad shit in the power play, and yet I’ve hardly been playing. But when I got up, I showed that I can play. The first game I played, we scored three goals in the power play and I had the assist.”

On his future, Zuccarello said, “I am not happy with the way I have been treated here in years, but I can probably sign a deal here as well. I do not know what to do. I have not quite decided. It is clearly necessary to go to the KHL. It’s a good league. It’s good hockey
