Buzz: Marc Staal Is Going To See A Concussion Specialist

Update: 9:16AM:

Original Post: In the NY Post, Larry Brooks writes that Marc Staal is going to visit renowned concussion specialist Dr. Robert Cantu in Boston.

Brooks writes that Cantu ordered Staal to shut down from all physical activity for the last month.

At the time of the shutdown, the Rangers had thought that Staal was going to be able to start skating.

Staal previously went to see a concussion specialist in Buffalo.

This makes sense as the timing of  the shut down coincides with the announcement that the team was supposed to have on Staal. Hopefully this shutdown helped him, as did the acupuncture and the cortisone shot, and he can at least start light workouts.
