Read: Henrik Lundqvist Is Getting His Fix

Throughout the lockout, Henrik Lundqvist said that he missed hockey, that he was hungry, felt lost, and that he was angry, disappointed and just wanted a deal to be done.

Lundqvist said that “it was a good feeling” when he found out that the two sides had reached a tentative agreement to end the lockout.

The New York Post reports that Sunday morning at 6:49AM Henrik Lundqvist sent a text message to ten Rangers in the NY area “telling them to get to the rink so they can work out.”

Only Michael Del Zotto and Steve Eminger showed up but as Del Zotto noted, Lundqvist is clearly “hungry” to get going.
