Chris KreiderAfter playing 18 playoff games and 33 games for the Whale, Chris Kreider is slated to make his NHL debut tonight for the Rangers as they take on the Bruins.

Kreider told ESPN NY that he only has two things on his mind, to make the team and not be considered a defensive liability.

He told the NY Post that he has a lot more to learn, but he feels like he had a productive week in training camp. He added that getting to play in front of his hometown is secondary to putting forth a good effort tonight.

Brad Richards told ESPN NY that he is impressed by how Kreider doesn’t take anything for granted.
