Read: JT Miller Is A Different Player Than He Was A Year Ago
At this time last year JT Miller was being considered for a spot on Team USA’s World Junior Team.
At the time, Chris Peters wrote “The U.S. needs a player that’s going to provide traffic and a presence in front of the net and play in the difficult areas of the ice. Miller showed he has the ability to be that guy. Consistency has always been a bugaboo for Miller, so it will be important to keep bringing the game he brought today for the rest of the camp.
Miller made the team and following the tournament Peters wrote “In certain spots of this tournament, Miller was fantastic. In others, he was just kind of there. He showed spurts of his great play-making ability and speed.”
As Miller heads into this year’s tournament, as a veteran and the only returning forward, Peters wrote at the United States of Hockey that was quite impressive at evaluation camp.
