Read: Everyone Wants To See Rick Nash and Brad Richards Together
In a transcript of the Q&A, provided by the team, that John Tortorella held with fans during his Dog Walk event, he said that he was looking forward to pairing 
up Rick Nash and Brad Richards.
It’s pretty obvious we’ll try him with Brad. I’m not sure who the other winger is going to be, and I do not like to divulge too much information right now, but we’re definitely going to try and work Brad and Nash together, especially with having Gabby hurt and out early in the year. I think it’ll work. I’m really anxious to see them play together.
Nash told Ranger Rants that it will take more than putting the two names together for the line to work,“He’s definitely a pass-first type guy. He’s been one of the top centers in the league for a while now. It’ll be exciting but, in saying that, it takes time to gain chemistry. Some of the best lines over the years, they’ve been playing together for years. It’s something that we’d have to work on and figure out each other’s game.”
