Note: Brad Richards and Teammates Are Planning To Help With Sandy Relief Tomorrow #SandyHelp
At TampaBay.com, Damien Cristodero spoke with Brad Richards who said that he is leaving Tampa Bay to return to New York and help in “any way we can” with the relief effort after Hurricane Sandy.
Richards told him “When it first happened, being in Manhattan with no power, you didn’t really know how bad it was. Now, being down here and seeing it on TV and seeing the stories about people who haven’t been helped yet, you can see how widespread the destruction was.”
Steve Eminger added “The whole city is pulling together. It’s not something we’re doing to get our names in the paper, it’s just something we’re doing.”
