Adam’s Thoughts:
- It wasn’t the first time and it certainly won’t be the last time that Ryan Callahan wins a game for the Rangers.
- You certainly don’t want to see them blow a 3-0 lead, but the Rangers showed some nice character by staying composed, getting some chances in OT and then winning it in the shootout.
- There are still a lot of things to correct, another too many men on the ice penalty!, but for most of the game the Rangers were good.
- The things that Rick Nash can do with the puck are incredible. Both the play he made to set up Carl Hagelin and his goal in the shootout were All-World.
- The Rangers have been getting some nice primary scoring from Carl Hagelin and Derek Stepan lately, but where has the primary scoring from Marian Gaborik and Brad Richards been?
- They didn’t get the win exactly the way they wanted to, but two points is two points and now it’s three in a row for the Rangers.
