Adam’s Thoughts:

• The Rangers were slow tonight. It looked as if they were skating against gusts of wind every time they tried to break out or go on a rush. They were sloppy with their passing and didn’t do nearly enough to push a Flyers team that is hurting and had defensive struggles in their past three games.
• The power play is hurting them in a big way through four games. They scored on one of them, but wasted the 4 minute PP that included the 2 minute 5 on 3. It was hard to see what they were trying to do, but whatever it was, it didn’t lead to nearly enough offense.
• Henrik Lundqvist was sharp and looked pretty consistent and comfortable tonight. He made a few really good saves
