At ESPN NY, Mike Mazzeo wonders if the Rangers are the favorites to come out of the Eastern Conference this season.

While answering the question, Mazzeo writes “why not.” He adds “The Rangers appear to have all the ingredients needed to make a run at the Stanley Cup. They’ve just got to stay healthy and score consistently.”

Hard to walk away from intense Rangers practice and good dressing room and not be impressed. Not a lot of holes in NY.—
